Location and Discription

The home is located on the Windward side of Oahu in wonderful Kailua. The home is situated on a large lot which allows for plenty of space for you to relax and the kids to play. The landscaping of this home succeeds in providing a feeling of peace and privacy. There is a BAR-BQ available for you and the
fish of the Hawaiian Islands is perfect for grilling. Before and after grilling you can use the pool and spa area. We have provided ample chairs and lounges for your sunbathing or reading pleasure. The spa is separate from the pool and built in to the deck. There is a beautiful outdoor shower, a nice feature on most homes but a necessary amenity when you are located so close to the Beach.

In Hawaii they use the terms Beach Front and Beach Side. Our Home is Beach Side which means we are on the beach side of the road. Only three doors down a private driveway is your access to one the Best Beaches in Hawaii. Kailua Beach is what you imagine a Hawaiian beach looks like. There is no Reef to cut your feet on and no giant surf so dangerous you can’t swim. Kailua beach has miles of white sand met by blue warm water with rolling waves. For us Kailua beach Is perfect, it is the reason we decided to buy a home here. a

Home Description:The Star of Hawaii is a 3 bedroom and 2 bath single story home. The West Wind Suite is a 1 room studio with its own bathroom and kitchenette. When you combine the two the home is a 4 bedroom 3 bath paradise. We rent the home in a 3 bedroom or a 4 bedroom layout you can make the decision based on the size of your party. There are also some occasions where we rent the West Wind Suite by itself.
The 3 bedroom house has a master bedroom with a Queen Bed and private bath. The second bedroom also has a Queen bed and the third bedroom has a set of twins that can be made into a comfortable King sized bed. I know what you are thinking but it is
comfortable. (And no the beds don't separate during the night.) The West Wind Suite is a large 580sf guest suite with a King Bed, bathroom, kitchenette with table, and sitting area perfect for TV, reading or games. This design offers couples and families privacy and flexibility. The house has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and family sized dining room, Living Room and an attached Television room. The living spaces open to pool and
gardens which gives the house that "Hawaiiana" feeling of bringing the outside in.

Three Story brick Italian Victorian with 5 window bay and a cupola on top. The house has massive and beautifully carved brackets. It features two large porches. One porch has wicker furniture, the other has a wrought iron table and chairs, so in nice weather, breakfast can be served there. The first floor consists of a very spacious and elegant double parlor. It has 12' ceilings with wide plaster crown moulding, wood floors, original wood shutters on the wide floor-to-ceiling windows and original marble fireplace. Across the hall is our dining room. It is intimately set up to serve 16 people with four tables for private dining. The dining room also has a fireplace, plaster crown moulding, wood floors, and original shutters on the large front windows.
